About Me

I believe that there is no such thing as a fine grey line, there is only black and white, no in between, you are either all in or all out.

I was born in 1995 and raised in South Africa, Pretoria.

My childhood was mostly spent with friend and family in swimming pools, camping, riding a bike, playing in the street and enjoying the company of my long legged Jack Russel, Flika.

I met the man of my dreams, Jeandre at the age of 17 and said “I do” at 18, for the most part, I have not regretted that decision.

Since then we have been trying to figure out this thing we call life, today we have concluded that it’s not so much about figuring it out but rather about going with the flow and just enjoying the ride.

We are now living on a farm just outside of Pretoria with my parents and our two four-legged children.

One fine looking black and white tuxedo cat we call Basil and a sexy long legged Belgian Malinois named Bondia.

In our spare time, my husband and I mostly keep to our-self. Enjoying the farm life, getting our hands dirty in the garden, enjoying the company of our bunnies, going on hikes or just a walk around the block (which is about 10 km), and enjoying time in the kitchen trying out new recipes.

So most of my posts are going to be about the things I do daily and some of my thought on things in life that we have or are currently struggling with or something that we have conquered.
